Job Summary of Buildings and Systems Engineering Specialist:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to ensure the optimal performance of equipment. The role includes sorting service calls and breakdowns, supporting maintenance mechanics, and assisting in solving daily operational issues related to conveyors and facility systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Buildings and Systems Engineering Specialist:

• Respond to internal customer needs for equipment and facility support.
• Address facility alarms and emergency situations promptly.
• Troubleshoot problems related to plant floor equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications and Experience of Buildings and Systems Engineering Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in engineering – Preferred.
• Programming experience including troubleshooting and basic understanding of networks – Preferred.
• Knowledge of motor control theory and operation, including AC/DC electrical troubleshooting – Preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.

Salary:

The starting pay rate for this union-represented position is $28.00 per hour.
