Customer Service

Job Summary:

This role involves receiving and processing packages for courier shipment, as well as operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The ideal candidate should have prior retail experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to learn quickly and stay knowledgeable about products, services, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in and phone-in customers, ensuring a positive experience.
• Listen actively to customers, team members, and leadership, offering effective solutions for shipping and other service needs.
• Advise customers on products, services, and best-value options, and demonstrate confidence in industry practices.
• Take ownership of customer shipping needs and suggest viable solutions to meet their requirements.
• Learn and maintain a thorough understanding of all products, services, and industry trends.
• Operate office equipment, software, and devices expertly, and assist in training others when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist in performing other duties as assigned by management.
• Process payments and complete transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is essential.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to cross-sell and up-sell products and services.
• Strong packing skills, with the ability to safely and efficiently pack items of varying sizes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Exceptional phone skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper spelling and basic math skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
