Service Associate

Job Summary:

UPS is responsible for managing and executing the delivery of contracted services to customers, ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded. This role requires close collaboration with vendors, internal support teams, and customers to ensure smooth daily operations. You will oversee a variety of activities including inbound receipts, inventory management, order processing, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing staffing, employee development, safety protocols, and facility inspections while optimizing operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily activities of the facility, including government compliance, inventory management, inbound receipts, kitting, and order processing.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of services to customers, ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
• Perform financial activities such as forecasting, allocations, and adjustments to meet business and corporate goals.
• Strengthen customer relationships through face-to-face interactions and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Support and improve operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, safety, and effectiveness.
• Ensure facility safety and security compliance, as well as employee engagement and development.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal facility performance and adequate manpower.
• Provide operational support to field stocking locations (FSL), agent locations, and the provider network as required.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use in daily tasks.
• Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency and capabilities of the operation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Prior experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as forklifts and order pickers.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other documentation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.

Salary:

Competitive salary based on experience, with a base pay starting at $20.00 per hour. Additional compensation opportunities available based on performance and role progression.
