Job Duties and Responsibilities of Local Courier:

• All UPS employees are required by DOT regulations to comply with them at all times.
• We have to use secure methods of handling goods while protecting their content during transit so that they don’t get damaged or lost along the way; however, this should not involve carrying anything heavier than seventy pounds.
• Work together with other staff members in order to come up with transport schedules which will enhance efficiency besides mapping out navigational routes; nevertheless, still perform personal duties assigned
• Keeping accurate records of received shipments in this department is important because it helps in avoiding mistakes, oversights or omissions that may lead to task delays

Qualifications and Experience of Local Courier:

• A clean driving record backed up with a valid driver’s license.
• Physically fit enough to undertake tasks stipulated under DOT physical examination including lifting heavy objects weighing up-to seventy pounds
• Good interpersonal skills will come in handy when dealing with customers of different backgrounds since I have worked for many industries including this one where service provision is key
• Showed educational background plus relevant certificates such as high school diploma or equivalent awarded upon successful completion of required courses shall suffice as evidence for having met minimum qualifications outlined earlier on
• Previous experience in parcel delivery service industry may not be mandatory but advantageous.
