Job Summary of Assistant General Manager:

This role supports multi-location operations for The UPS Store. This role ensures consistent service excellence, operational efficiency, and team performance across all centers. Responsibilities include staff supervision, training implementation, cost control, compliance oversight, and regular performance reporting. The ideal candidate brings a mix of hands-on leadership, operational knowledge, and customer service expertise to drive store success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Assistant General Manager:

• Supervise, train, and develop store associates to ensure high-quality service and operational consistency.
• Manage daily operations including employee scheduling, compliance, and procedural execution across locations.
• Oversee print production projects using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite tools.
• Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and implement improvements where needed.
• Ensure compliance with quarterly operational audits and internal performance standards.
• Develop and execute local marketing strategies to support growth and visibility.
• Maintain store organization, safety standards, and oversee inventory control.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational and performance reports.

Qualifications and Experience of Assistant General Manager:

• Post-secondary education, technical training, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in retail store management or operations.
• Strong leadership, team management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer interaction skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between store locations.
