Job Description of Distribution Driver:

Make a difference in our daily operation by becoming a Part-Time Tractor Trailer Driver with UPS. As a Distribution Driver, you'll operate a tractor trailer on established routes between UPS locations or customers, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of packages on time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Distribution Driver:

• Use a large vehicle, such as a tractor trailer, to convey UPS packages on designated paths between company's centers or directly to customers.
• Your work hours may need to be adjusted to accommodate the operational needs, which may include daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts.
• Adhere to all protocols and policies stipulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the company, which incorporates successfully clearing the DOT medical check-up.
• Respect UPS's appearance policy and sport the outfit that is provided by the organization.
• Demonstrate the traits of being reliable, responsive, and having an intense passion for the world of trucking.
• Keep up with the legal requirements for working in the United States.

Qualifications and Experience of Distribution Driver:

• Being in possession of an authentic Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) in your state of domicile is mandatory.
• In some locations, a Doubles/Triples endorsement may be required.
• Drivers must be able to pass the DOT physical examination.
• A firm belief in responsibility and consistency.
• Consumed by the desire to drive trucks and provide unmatched customer support.

Salary:
