Job Summary of Graphic Designer / Print Production:

This role is responsible for designing and completing all customer graphics orders and will assist with volume copying. The role requires effective conceptualization abilities, strong design skills, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate is collaborative, with demonstrated strengths in graphic design, project management, and communication. A strong mastery of Adobe-based software (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Graphic Designer / Print Production:

• Prepare and assemble images, illustrative material, and copy, and manage layout for publication.
• Develop creative concepts and build graphic solutions for customers.
• Complete creative concepts, graphic design, pre- and post-press work, and technical specifications to finalize projects.
• Perform pre-press setup in Adobe platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.
• Maintain and develop accurate customer files based on production workflow.
• Produce, design, proof, and update materials for customer projects.
• Work as a team player and contribute to the overall production process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience of Graphic Designer / Print Production:

• Bachelor’s degree in visual communication, graphic design, or a related field (preferred).
• At least two years of experience in graphic design or the print industry.
• Proficient in Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong computer and internet skills across multiple platforms.
• Able to manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline production flow.
• Exceptional attention to detail in design work.
• Skilled in copyediting, proofreading, and desktop publishing.
• An energetic self-starter with a drive for success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
