Job Summary of Welder Lead:

This role involves daily fieldwork in dynamic, high-performance environments where strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards is essential. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift heavy materials, and maintain high levels of physical activity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Welder Lead:

• Install pipe hangers according to specifications.
• Fabricate piping spools using spool sheets and isometric drawings.
• Cut and bevel pipe using flame tools, then clean and prepare for fit-up.
• Perform layout, rigging, and transport of pipe, valves, and fittings.
• Weld various types of materials in all positions to meet job specifications.
• Pass job-specific welding tests and quality inspections.

Qualifications and Experience of Welder Lead:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of TIG/MIG manual welding experience.
• Proficient in reading prints, WPS, and interpreting x-ray films.
• Experience welding stainless and carbon steel in 1G position.
• Strong team collaboration and ability to meet production metrics.
• Must pass craft test, drug screen, background check, and physical (PFT/FIT).
• Valid TWIC card required.
