Sales Associate

Job Summary:

The UPS is looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Associate. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, promoting products and services, and helping achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will play an essential role in the smooth operation of the store and in delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly maer.
• Inform customers about the range of products and services offered by The UPS Store.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
• Pack and ship customer packages using UPS Store equipment and shipping techniques.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and keeping store supplies in order.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and address their needs.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic computer skills required for processing transactions and using store equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a vehicle for reliable transportation to and from work.
