Store Associate

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Associates to join the team at our newly opened The UPS Store. This position requires the ability to manage various tasks, from handling packages to working with store technologies, all while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, assisting with shipping, packaging, and printing services.
• Operate store technologies, including computers, point-of-sale systems, fax machines, and copy/printing equipment.
• Lift and handle packages up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Process orders, manage inventory, and ensure the store remains organized and clean.
• Assist customers with various store-related inquiries, including mailboxes, packing, and business services.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet store goals and customer expectations.
• Be flexible with work hours, including evenings and weekends, to support store operations.
• Take responsibility for tasks and be open to learning and applying new skills.
• Ensure all procedures and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience with The UPS Store or similar retail environment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical tasks.
• Comfortable with using technology such as computers, printers, and other office equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Dependable, reliable, and adaptable with a willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• A teachable, quick learner, especially in a retail environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as the store operates beyond regular hours.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
