Job Summary:

You are responsible for directing the development team in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging applications in an Agile Scrum environment. This role involves providing technical mentorship, improving development processes, and ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders. The developer will focus on front-end web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular/React, and Restful web services, with experience in building reusable Angular web components.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Lead Software Development Engineer:

• Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise-level applications.
• Ensure the successful implementation of system improvements.
• Develop program logic for new applications and analyze existing systems.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams.
• Research and integrate emerging technologies.
• Define application complexity drivers and estimate development efforts.
• Ensure alignment with Agile engineering best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Software Developer in both development and support roles.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Experience in building reusable Angular web component libraries.
• Familiarity with Micro Frontend Architecture applications.
• Knowledge of Shell scripting, Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
• Experience in highly available, large-scale, multi-platform systems.
• Understanding of Agile, SAFe methodologies, and DevSecOps.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and coach others in software development practices.
• Recommend and apply Agile methodologies to optimize development outcomes.
• Implement Extreme Programming techniques, including pair programming and test-driven development.
