UPS Store Associate

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with shipping, packing, and printing.
• Offer detailed information about UPS services, products, and pricing.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional maer.
• Process shipments, including packing, labeling, and tracking packages using UPS systems.
• Operate office equipment (copiers, printers, computers) for customer transactions and printing services.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and ensure stock levels are sufficient.
• Promote UPS services and encourage customers to purchase additional products or services.
• Support store promotions and marketing campaigns to enhance sales and customer engagement.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records related to shipments and transactions.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and well-maintained according to UPS standards.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and postal services is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using computers and office equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift and move packages, typically up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in a retail environment with regular customer interaction.
• Exposure to typical noise levels in a retail setting.
