Job Description of Door-to-Door Delivery Driver:

As a UPS Door-to-Door Delivery Driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for delivering packages to homes and businesses. You will drive our iconic brown trucks, ensuring that our customers receive their packages promptly and with a smile. Your day will involve delivering boxes of all shapes and sizes, providing excellent customer service, and representing UPS with pride.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Door-to-Door Delivery Driver:

• Operate a UPS delivery vehicle smoothly and securely, staying in line with traffic and safety regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• You are responsible for collecting, transferring, and delivering packages with varying dimensions to a range of household and business locations.
• Provide extraordinary customer service that guarantees an exceptional delivery experience for all customers.
• To establish a professional persona, individuals should adhere to the UPS Uniform and Personal Appearance Guidelines.
• Utilize handheld devices to manage delivery routes for increased efficiency and timely completion of deliveries.
• Compliance with UPS's dress code guidelines is crucial, and it is mandatory to don the company-distributed attire.
• Perform duties for complete work hours that typically last 8 to 10 hours per day.

Qualifications and Experience of Door-to-Door Delivery Driver:

• Competent in handling loads of up to 70 lbs without experiencing any difficulties.
• If you have a driver's license that meets your state's standards, a CDL is not necessary.
• Fulfill the regulatory mandates for the Department of Transportation physical exam.
• Exceptional proficiency in pleasing customers while displaying excellent driving acumen.
• If your legal right to work in the U.S. is in jeopardy, it is crucial to seek legal counsel to protect your rights and livelihood.
