Job Summary of Customer Experience Associate:

You are responsible for providing world-class customer service at The UPS Store, assisting customers with shipping needs, and operating various office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and laminating machines. This role involves delivering high-quality service, offering product and service recommendations, and ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail sales, strong computer skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor. A fast learner, the Center Associate will strive to master all aspects of the business quickly.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Experience Associate:

• Offer exceptional assistance to both in-store and telephone customers.
• Present excellent listening skills in customer interactions, team discussions, and interactions with superiors.
• Take ownership of addressing customers’ shipping requirements and providing viable resolutions.
• Understand and keep up-to-date on the vast array of products and services, industry trends, and different possibilities for solutions.
• Display adeptness in using different equipment, software, and devices and be open to guiding others.
• Foster a work environment that is tidy, methodical, and secure.
• Aid in managing different store duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Manage packages that are 40 pounds or heavier in weight.

Qualifications and Experience of Customer Experience Associate:

• A GED or high school diploma is a fundamental requirement.
• Well-versed in using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, demonstrating advanced computer capabilities.
• Proficient in telephone protocol and proficient in both verbal and written communication, with a strong grasp of math and spelling.
• Must be prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Aptitude for handling objects with a weight of 40 pounds or greater.
• Candidates with a history of working in retail or customer service are preferred.
• Manifesting a willingness to swiftly adapt to new information and adeptly manage diverse responsibilities.
